Wanna know why we make music? Money? Hahahaha, no, wed be done by now. Fame? Once again, no, its not gonna happen. Girls? Ha, at my age, I dont think so. Why then? Stuff like this posted by Craig Hall when we had released the album to pledgers this evening: Today felt like the cyber equivalent of standing outside the record shop on the day of release, waiting for it to open (even if it opened late), waiting for that new album by your favourite band and having a laugh with strangers and mates, all who were there with common purpose. Each good humoured reply to a post was like another friend joining the queue, the download time like the walk home with that precious vinyl under yer arm and, of course, that magical moment when you release the record from the sleeve, smell the fresh wax, hear the first blasting chords and pour over the liner notes and artwork (in other words, pressing play on the media player). Thank you guys for recreating those memories of standing like a dweeb outside Our Price and nailing it home with awesome tunes. Thank you also to the Idol loyal who shared their time (and filth) during the last countdown to the release. You cant buy that stuff. Polly Dolx
