Want a real fairy tale story, complete with a villain, a princess, and a hero? Meet Brewsky and Princess: our 2 newest OCPBR dogs! Brewsky and Princess started out life with a terrible owner. They were left outside on the side of the house on a concrete slab with no shelter from heat, cold, wind or rain. Brewsky was being eaten alive by flies because of all the sores on his body from having a severe case of flea atopic dermatitis. He was red, swollen, bloody and had hives because of the untreated flea allergies and severe heat, no shelter, flies and living in his own feces and urine. He was in so much pain, he could hardly move or walk right. Princess lived the same way. They were never taken in for medical care, allowed indoors, or given any human care of any kind. The owner bred them over and over again. They were simply there to earn him a profit. When some Good Samaritans found out about the terrible situation and started providing food, cover, and crates for the dogs, the owner turned around and sold the items. Then the Samaritans had the dogs fixed with the owners permission. Because they were no longer a source of income, the owner stopped feeding them. Then, he wanted them out and that was when the small group of people including their committed foster pulled together and rescued these two babies. Im a 5 year old kind, mellow boy. My rescue angels say that I am a gentle boy with an old soul. I love to be loved. My favorite thing to do is hang out with people and relax. I enjoy back scratches and belly rubs. I love short walks and a little play time with a ball or rope toy. But my favorite thing in the whole world is getting treats. Im really good at sitting for those. I currently live with dogs and cats of various ages and sizes. I get along great with everyone. I also like kids because they are fun to play with! Im neutered, up to date on my shots and microchipped. I love my sleepy crate at night time, but it would also be great to snuggle with you in your bed. We unfortunately did find out the day we brought these love bugs into the rescue family that Brewsky had ruptured his ACL, he will have TPLO surgery in the next few weeks and we will keep everyone updated on his progress. Princess Bio: Hi! Im Princess. Im a sweet 4 year old girl with lots of energy. I love people very much, especially the little ones because they like to play with me. My rescue angels say that I live up to my name because I love to be loved and pampered. I like to pose for the camera and sit pretty for yummy treats. I LOVE to play with toys and go for long walks. I also give great kisses and snuggles. I currently live with dogs and cats of various ages and sizes and I get along great with everyone. Im spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. I love my sleepy crate at night time but it would also be great to snuggle with you in your bed. I have so much love to give! These two incredible dogs have been through a lot and have managed to remain sweet, loving and well behaved through it all.
