Composite 4-star cornerback Troy Vincent Jr.—the son of former NFL corner Troy Vincent Sr.—has pulled the trigger on committing to the Nittany Lions. In choosing PSU, the Rockville, Md., native has committed to the same conference as his father, who played in the Big Ten and was drafted in the seventh round out of Wisconsin in 1992. Vincent Sr. currently serves as the senior vice president for the NFL Player Engagement Organization, a position he has held since 2010. The elder Vincent—who played for the Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins—is also a five-time Pro Bowl selection and previously served as the president of the NFL Players Association. As reported by Josh Moyer of ESPN, Vincent Jr. is looking to create his own legacy while helping to rebuild the atmosphere surrounding the PSU football program:
