Want some drama?! Man...do I ever love my Fiero! Just got back from town, doing some grocery shopping, and she is soooo sweet. That little 3.4 really performs nice! I cant help but feel sorry for those poor 1st owners of these cars, that paid $17 or $18000, only to have the power of the 2.8, and how happy they would have been to just have that extra that the 3.4 gives! I love those round-abouts on the long stretch of 60mph highway. Everyone else has to slow down to 25-30mph, but I can take them doing 35-40, and accelerate out of them doing 50+ by accelerating just before the middle of the turn (only when there is no heavy traffic of course!) and by the time the car, I passed in the other lane, comes out of the round-about, Im 200-yards down the straight-away...! The other cars just cant take the corners like my Fiero...lol! I once hit the round-about doing about 45+ on the inside lane and floored it at the middle...it drifted to the right, but I had shifted down to second so just kept her floored and she came right out of it...no problem. There were no other cars btw, and I dont make that a practice...lol, but I had to give it a try, at least once. Good thing no cops were around! ;-) Then there is just the pleasure of going through the gears of that Getrag, with the 3.4 driving it, and that stage-III clutch helps out too...but what a blast! By the time I get home, I pull into the garage with a great big smile on my face. I love that little car!
