Want to be a Gloucestershire RECORD BAKER? On Friday 14th November 2014, BBC Radio Gloucestershire will be trying to break the World Record for the Longest Line of Cakes in aid of Children In Need. The current record stands at 607 metres and hopefully with the help of the Gloucestershire community the record can be broken. More than 14,500 cupcakes will need to be made so come on Gloucester lets be record breakers! We can do it! The attempt at breaking the record will be taking place on Friday 14th November at Gloucestershire Airport. The cupcakes need to be baked to a set recipe (find out more in the link below). A selection of collection points will be dotted around the county on Thursday 13th November, so you can bake your cupcakes and then take them to your nearest collection point. You can find out more here - ow.ly/CIVa5 Alternatively BBC Gloucestershire can post you the details if you send a stamped addressed envelope to: BBC Gloucestershire, London Road, Gloucester, GL1 1SW. Additionally you can email [email protected] to let them know if you are taking part! All details including the ‘official’ recipe for the cupcakes, the collection points in the county and more canbe found in the link below.
