Want to become an Artist or looking for a career in the Aboriginal Arts industry? The Bachelor of Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art (BCAIA) at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University are looking for students for the 2015 intake. BVCAIA is a three year degree, where Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students are exposed to a variety of different art practices, including sculpture, painting, drawing, animation, illustration, film-making, jewellery making as well as theoretical foundations of art. We are currently interviewing for the 20 available places. Interested applicants must be Aboriginal Australian or Torres Strait Islander, be able to provide a portfolio of current art work, have a year 12 minimum literacy competency and demonstrate a passion for the visual arts.
