Want to buy a VAN? Its a classy old luxury conversion van thats gotten me through some dangerous trips and some tough jobs. Now Ive downsized to a Subaru and it needs to go. 1996 Ford E-150 Waldorf Luxury Conversion Van 216xxx miles $1200 FIRM Good touring vehicle or work truck THE GOOD: Starts every time, runs strong Luxury interior: leather, power everything, television w/ VCR, surround sound, strip lights, window shades, fold down bench seat, etc. Front end rebuilt ~2 years ago Front and rear brakes redone ~1 year ago, new discs and rotors Radiator and water pump replaced ~3 years ago Decent tires V6 engine gets fair mileage for this size of vehicle. As good as 19mpg hiway, 12mpg + in town Interior is about 48 x 54 x 10. You can put ANYTHING in this full size van. THE BAD: Some weird electrical problem makes it cancel the cruise control when you signal a right. This might kill you. Interior has paint stains and a few rips, exterior has some dents and a missing running board, light rust around the wheels Headlights only do bright. This can make people angry if you try to drive it in traffic at night. Sometimes likes to stall if you leave it in drive at a stop light. Doesnt have a problem if you put it in neutral. Ive driven it this way for four years and had no further trouble - probably a transmission control thing. The place where you put the gas in has a small leak - it spills a bit if youre not careful with the nozzle. Probably an easy fix. Burns a tiny bit of oil. THE GOLD: Comes fully loaded with miniature fire extinguisher, Dirty Mean and Nasty floor mat with a cute little devil on it, and all three original Star Wars movies on VHS.
