Want to go #BackToThe60s? Unless they invent #timetravel over the weekend, this special St Kilda Film Festival screening will be the next best thing! Dont miss ONCE UPON A TWILIGHT, a 24-minute pilot pilot for a proposed television series features the musical stylings of Australian pop’s premier band of the moment (The Twilights), directed with a wacky Dick Lester/Monkees sensibility by Brian Kavanagh. Also screening, THE SNAP AND CRACKLE OF POP; a 1968 feature documentary which investigates what goes on behind the scenes in the Australian pop scene. The musical line-up includes The Castaways, Doug Parkinson, the Wild Cherries (with the legendary Lobby Lloyde), Max Merritt and the Meteors at a live club date, Phil Jones and the Unknown Blues, The Executives and Johnny Farnham. Monday 26 May, 7:30pm.
