Want to have a good New Year? There are 12 Let Us Steps (eat your greens!) in Hebrews: 1)Let us fear(God), 2) Let us be diligent, 3) Let us hold fast our confession. 4) Let us draw near to the throne of grace, 5) Let us press on to maturity, 6) Let us draw near to the most holy place, 7) Let us hold fast our confession without wavering, 8) Let us consider one another, 9) Let us run with endurance the race, 10) Let us show gratitude, 11) Let us go out to Him, 12) Let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God. I have to continually eat my greens and not the junk food! Run the race in such a way that you might win the prize. I am a disciple (solider) in training to run the race and as such must run by the rules of training to win the prize. These last three weeks have a been a constant reminder to be thanksful...in the midst of bathroom demolition to get to damaged joist. This was not something, planned and has caused a house of destruction for re-construction, because if the foundation is not solid, how can the house stand? Is God redoing your physical/spiritual house? Is He shaking every thing that can be shaken? Praise God He is the construction business of your life(temple)...so that He might fully inhabit the praises of His people. So conditions for success : keep the right attitude, have self-control, endurance, eyes fixed on Jesus (author and perfecter of my faith). If I want grace I must show gratitude. No matter what language: French Grace a Dieu, Thanks to God, Italian grazie and Spanish gracias - all from grace to connect thanks. Appreciate what God has done and does for you. In all your ways acknowledge Him (God) and He shall direct your paths. Prov. 3:6 God has said in His word that every thing that call be shaken will be shaken. Hebrew 12:28 since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude. God unshakeable Kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Rom. 14:17) Being thankful releases our spirit for acceptable worship and service...Let us show gratitude, that we may offer to God an acceptable service, with reverence and awe. So the attitude of gratitude releases our spirits...got bindings? in everything give thanks for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit. 1 Thess 5: 18-19 Our God is a consuming fire...Is He trying to burn up the what is not of Him in your life? Rejoice!
