Want to know a little about String Theory? All of this is typed from my knowledge, and not referenced from anything. (Right now Im waiting on my hard drive to be formatted, so I decided to take some time to write about String Theory) String theory is the leading holy grail of physics in regards of unification. It is becoming one of the primary beliefs of the physics world. String theory in a nutshell is that within every atom exists strings that move around in a floppy like way; resembling worms dancing in a pool of water. Think of the size of our solar system, then think about the size of the Earth, and then think about the size of a tree on earth. The galaxy represents one small drop of water from an eye dropper, an single atom within the drop of water represents earth, and a string represents the tree. String theory says there is at least 11 different dimensions; but we only know of four of them; x, y z, time. Just as you cannot see into the future, or see into your own past (except when you can remember); you cannot see into a dimension that isnt exposed to you, like the remaining 7 or more or the boundaries of the current four we know exists in front of us. Could some of these unknown dimensions contain a God? Many theologists would suggest not. Mainly because God is known to create all things, including the dimensions that are not experienced. So, God would have to be a parent to those dimensions as well. This would mean that the dimensions in existence are apart of another dimension. That dimension is where _all_ things have been manifested from. Manifested from nothing? Steven Hawking and various other scientists are trying to figure out how our existence could just poof into existence to cooperate with string theory. There are some theories but not very well supported. I mean, if there was a big bang that started this universe, then was that big bang started from nothing or a single entity known as a singularity? Best way I can describe the singularity is how a baby is developed. It starts from a single celled egg, and then fertilized to multiply into various different cells for various different purposes. But what fertilized the singularity to become the big bang? With string theory, there are membranes of different existences laying close together. It would be similar to hanging up a bunch of bed sheets on a line outside to dry; and they are hanging very close and parallel to each other. Each sheet would represent a universe and/or dimension, and there are thousands (if not infinite sheets). When the wind kicks up the sheet and hits another sheet; what happens? Most physicists think that this is how a big bang happens; when two different dimensions hit each other. So our universe may not have started from the big bang, it was just a hiccup that tends to happen every now and then. Dark Energy and Dark Matter maybe a manifestation of a quantum physical reaction between two different dimensions, or multiple dimensions. What if the sun existed on a dimensional membrane that was very close to a membrane of another dimension. That sun could effect that other dimension even though it is not physically there. Because the two membranes are close to each other at that point, they exchange energy. Which makes sense, because we cannot see, hear, experience or feel the other dimensions that are hidden from us. Similarly, we cannot see, hear experience or feel black holes, or other dark energy/matter entities. The other 11 dimensions may be so close that we may mistake some phenomenal situations as ghosts, or UFO sightings. It is an erie theory to think about, but it is not something that is out of the fiction books anymore. String theory is one of the most supported and widely talked about theories in the effort to unify physics. The math is there.
