The Lord is at hand. - a Christian must be at peace, at all times, regardless of situation that they are in, inthe situation that they are encountering and about to encounter, knowing that if you are with Christ and He is in you, HE IS IN CONTROL! 1. Matthew 9:2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. (in the midst of sickness) 2. Matthew 14:24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.27 But straightway Jesus spoke unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. (in the midst of storms, problems and test) 3. Mattthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. (in the midst of accusation, negative response and abuse) The reason why He says so? John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (in the midst of great trouble and suffering) the world means - earthly desires, temptation and pain has been put to death, once you let Jesus reigns in your life. In peace with Him – means that contentment fills you! You aspire for something Great thou it cannot be literally seen now, knowing that God will transform our present situation into something even better that what we could have ever think for, knowing all His plans are for our good and for His glory Smile, Happiness! (WATCH YOUR MOOD! IT REFLECTS YOUR SOUL!) - We must always find reason to be happy, even when we are forced to walk under sun for miles, due to the present situation yet, we must be of good cheer that thou we walk under the heat of the sun while the other can have their cars, still God is Great because we have feet to walk on with, while the others can’t. Thank God that we are still full of strength to walk on, while the other has their feet yet they cannot manage to walk. Experiencing all these things while believing in our mind, heart and soul declaring that God will raise us out of that situation and will grant the desire of our heart, on His appointed time, knowing and believing that when Great things He Has planned come into pass, it is not by our might and power but by His Spirit and Grace. - We must always find reason to be happy, even when we are forces to buy half kilo than kilos of meat, due to the amount of wages we are earning this time, while the others can buy excessive kilos of commodities yet, we must be of good cheer that thou we our salary is very minimal now, still God is Great because we have money to buy and sustain our needs. Thanks God that even thou its not that much, yet by His Faithfulness He will make us full and recharge by His strength. Thanking him that thou it’s only a small amount, its good that we can still eat. The other could have too much on the table, yet they cannot even taste it because sense of taste and strength left them that they cannot eat. While in our mind, heart and soul we are declaring that God will raise us out of that situation and will grant the desire of our heart, on His appointed time, knowing and believing that when Great things He Has planned come into pass, it is not by our might and power but by His Spirit and Grace. - We must always find reason to be happy, even when we are receiving loads of work from our supervisor, could be more than what has been agreed, yet, we must be of good cheer that thou we are under stress, we have been given such opportunity because they know that we are equipped to do it. In our heart, thinking and believing that God is showing something great to fonder on, and He will let us see our breakthrough, could be in the same office or in another workplace, not by our might nor power, but by His grace and His Spirit. DOWNCAST SOUL (IT POISON YOUR SPIRIT) - when things are not going as planned - when desires does not come on hand - when challenges seems too tough - when dreams crushed - when the outcome is not as planned our reaction is to have a downcast spirit, your face will reflect the burdens within! If You are in Christ and things not goes as planned, your first reaction must be 1. Ask God for forgiveness, you could have done something away from His plan! You could have missed out consulting Him. 2. Be of good cheer, delay is not a denial! Jesus will give the things you are longing for as long as you are with Him, and He is in you, provided that He knows it will be for your good, for His glory. 3. REMEMBER! HIS THOUGHTS ARE NOT your thought, AND HIS ways are not your ways! Isaiah 55:8-9 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. 4. Yield and Surrender! Let Him direct you, according to His will and you will see His divine interference that will change your life, forever. The only way to do that is to yield and surrender your self to God, completely! 5.
