Want to lost stubborn body fat? Try fasted cardio. By performing exercise prior to breakfast, the body doesnt have glucose (from previous meals) as an energy source so it turns to stored body fat! If you are concerned about losing muscle mass with cardio, keep sessions under 45min and the intensity relatively low. You can also supplement BCAAs or whey protein before hand, however this will count towards extra calories which youd have to take into account. Every Mr. Olympia training schedule I have looked at includes 45min of cardio before breakfast!
