Want to sit at the table with folks who are influencing the future of arts education in Oregon? WE, the voices of highly qualified, certified art educators need to be heard at the summit! Let the other stakeholders know there are several hundred licensed art specialists working in public and private K-12 schools across this state! We are the ones meeting state and national standards, embracing the upcoming new national standards, while honing best practices. We are not one-and-done artists-in-residence. We are in our school communities for the long-term, deepening relationships, deepening scope and sequence, and helping our young art proteges develop over a long period of time.
