Want to study in India for 3 weeks? Applications are now open for the 2013 UK India Education Research Initiative (UKIERI) Study India Programme, a three-week intensive introduction to India for up to 200 UK students. The programme will take place in New Delhi and Mumbai from 18 August to 15 September 2013 and will introduce UK students to Indian culture, history, tradition, politics and the economy with the aim of creating better cross-cultural understanding and facilitating work, cultural and intellectual exchanges between the two countries. It will also familiarise British students with Indian work culture, helping to prepare them for the role India is likely to play in their careers. The visiting students will get first-hand experience through weeklong internships at leading Multinational, British and Indian companies or non-profit organisations. EU/EEA students registered on a full degree at a UK university or HE or FE college are eligible to apply.
