Want to visit Israel & Palestine in the spring on 2015? Wed love to have an OBC delegation. Interfaith Peace-Builders organizes delegations of people from diverse backgrounds for two-week trips to Israel/Palestine, emphasizing the grassroots voices of Israelis and Palestinians immersed in the reality of the conflict. IFPB delegates bear witness to the everyday violence of occupation and learn from stories and experiences of Israeli and Palestinian nonviolent and human rights scholars and activists working for justice and peace. IFPB delegations share images and analyses to uncover the roots of Israeli-Palestinian conflict; they point to avenues of change and reconciliation; and they engage our role as US citizens. The UGA Catholic Center, Central Presbyterian Church, Congregation Bet Haverim from the Atlanta area will be going together on an IFPB delegation May 16-29, 2015, and theyve invited us to join them. We would love to see participants from Oakhurst Baptist Church be a part of this historic event, where local faith partners will share in their experiences learning about and working for justice and peace in Israel and Palestine. ifpb.org/delegations/default.html
