Wanted to Share and invite some of my FB friends to consider being a part: The Max Civic Club is a public service group whose purpose is to serve the best interest of Max and the surrounding area. We work to promote the interests of all age groups. Our Club sponsors many of our own events. We also contribute financially to many causes in the area in an effort to make the City of Max and the surrounding area a great place to live. The Civic Club originated as the Max Commercial Club in 1906 and has existed in its current form since 1963. Today, the Club remains as one of the most active public service groups in Max. Recently, our membership has been declining. It is now difficult to run activities because of fewer members. Thus, we invite new members and younger members to get involved. The Civic Club needs the help of the whole community. Annual membership dues are: $20 (individual), $30 (couple), and $50 (business...includes membership for 2). Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
