Wanted to give a shout out to my big boy Karma Maxwell! Last night I didnt trust his instincts when I should have. from a pup weve always trained him to alert and follow the sound throughout the house by having someone outside giggling the door or windows so hed follow the sound if myself or the kids were home alone. Last night both the kiddos were gone so I decided to take a nice long soak in the tub listening to some music. Shortly into my bath Karma Maxwell began barking. He normally only barks if he sees someone close outside and has recently gotten more alert when he sees people but its normal just a single bark. Well last night he kept barking, I kept telling him to cut it out. Finally I get out of the tub rather frustrated and I walk through the house to the kitchen where hes standing going insane (theres a door that leads into a back porch area and then my bedroom. I hear a door slam... call 911 freaking out---- only to find someone had broken in through my backdoor off the laundry room and had completely destroyed my room taking all Jewelry as well as some other items. My big boy was at the door the whole time ensuring that whatever idiot felt the need to come in was not going past him or would definitely think it over before opening that door. Needless to say he had a very special treat last night after all was said and done, at 10 months i couldnt be more proud! new locks being installed today! Thank the lord for these wonderful creatures!
