Wanted to post a few things tonight. Right now Hunter could use some additional prayers for a couple of things. He’s pretty sick and has been vomiting quite a bit and is running a temperature. Robin will monitor him throughout the night to make sure we don’t need to take him to the hospital. The other thing Hunter has going on right now is his weight. He has dropped below 100 pounds and it hurts for him to eat. To put that in perspective, he started this second battle of cancer around 137 pounds, so this is a very big deal. He certainly doesn’t want to have a feeding tube put into him, so we are doing everything possible so that doesn’t happen. I think it hurts and he’s afraid as it just makes him throw up. The doctor called in some meds for him this evening, so hopefully that will help his appetite and I’m sure being sick all week hasn’t helped. Finally, Hunter’s surgery has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 9th. The plan is still to do the less major surgery (Thoracoscopy) and barring any unforeseen issues, he should not have to have a chest tube and his stay will be much shorter than last time.
