Wanted to post a quick message to tell you about my morning. This morning was a morning that had me thinking how funny life is . As most of you know my daughters are at the high school this year and one of them is driving. We have lived in this community since they were in preschool. As a mother there are moments that will forever be in our minds, when our children were born, when they stop taking the bottle, first words, even though they say ( da da ) first day on a bike, first day of kindergarten, first dance, you get what Im trying to say. This morning I heard will boys look at me and think Im cute? Shes a little girl who is on her way to a young woman, and is concerned if boys will think shes cute. I looked at her and couldnt help tearing up and said that will come soon enough, dont be so concerned if boys find you cute, be more concern if you know your beauty and your real value. Her response Really mom, cant you just say of- course? My dear daughter this posting is for you, any boy who doesnt take the time to see your true beauty is not worth having him notice you. Know this, you are a true blessing, I gained clarity when you and your sister came into my life and although you are merely given to me briefly I will embrace all your beauty every second I have you. Life will get better, and remember, high school will be a time in your life that will be so small one day. I love you Mik and Mad ...
