Wanted to share part of an email that I received from Tara Moore: We were made aware of the unfit to use conditions of the track by parents and concerned community members like yourself over the weekend. The extreme weather conditions over the last five months have had many unexpected consequences, just like the many potholes in our roads. Because of this extreme need, at tonights County Council Legislative Session, I am introducing legislation to take $250K from our unassigned Fund Balance to repair the Perryville track. If approved by the County Council, this will allow CCPS to begin repair of the track right after graduation so that it can be completed in time for when football practice begins.
