Wanted to share something that God gave me this morning. Early this morning I began my day as usual sitting in my recliner with my favorite quilt . As I began to pray and read He began to reveal different things to me. As these special moments are with God I began to weep ,,, I wept and wept at His goodness and how He met me this morning right where I was at in my heart . I finally pulled myself together and as I looked down I noticed on my lap laying on my quilt was a leaf. I thought to myself Now where did that come from? I mean , I had thrown my quilt on top of me as I sat down. How was it that it lay here undisturbed? I reached down to pick the leaf up when to my amazement there was a hole in my quilt the exact shape of the leaf that it laid in as if a piece of a puzzle fitting in its place. I of course knowing how strange this was began to ask God what does this mean Lord. ( completely exhausted from my heartfelt cry) when the sweetest voice said,,, I fit the hole in your heart perfectly. You see when we have a hole in our heart due to grief, loss, separation, un-fulfillment, hurt or whatever it may be,,, Jesus fits it PERFECTLY!! The picture below is my God moment from this morning. I pray this ministers to your heart on the first day of the year as it did mine!! I love you FB friends and I love sharing these moments with you ( call me crazy if you want too) but God knows what we need and when we need it!!! Why dont you begin this year by spending some quite time each morning with God. You will be amazed at what He will do in your heart and your life. Get a devotional ( I personally love Jesus Calling by Sarah Young) but there are many to choose from along with Gods Word. Listen I am by far holier than thou and to know that God was waiting on me this morning in order to speak to my heart the God of the Universe!!! ( WOW) You know He waits for us daily to speak to us but we dont take the time out of our busy lives to just spend 15-30 minutes with God!! Lord I would have missed this had I not been seeking!!! Thank you for my precious nugget this morning Lord and yes ,,, its a Happy New Year!!
