Wanted to try new restaurant/bar. But walked out when scanned my license and insisted on a wristband. I totally understand why places would do that, but I rarely encounter it at places that cater to mature customers. More importantly, if these license scanners get more common, I would want to know who accesses the data. Unlike credit cards, you can see my address and DOB. Maybe places should post policies on data use? Maybe Im paranoid?
