Wanted to update everyone on Lauren Van Horn Alison Fishman Sidney Fishman Ani Dylan Amelia Deasy Cameron and what’s going on with the hurricane that hit them Sunday night in Cabo. The airport is destroyed, Cabo is pretty much destroyed. Everyone in our group is healthy, and was unhurt by the actual hurricane. Though the house they were staying in was destroyed. We haven’t heard from anyone in 24 hours. But I am not overly worried. Though this may be the longest I’ve ever gone not talking to Lauren since we met 8 years ago. I miss her dearly and wish I was with her right now. The hotel they have moved to has been posting today on FB. Internet and telephone service has been down throughout Cabo all day today. But the hotel said, “all of our guests are safe and sound, and all being provided with food. The Mexican Government has begun an evacuation of tourists and residents. Apparently it’s a first come first serve system. I don’t know if they have gone to the airport. They are flying people out to Tijuana and Mexico City. Monday is the earliest that commercial flights could fly out of Cabo again. Hoping everyone is able to return home safely as soon as possible.
