War Crimes Court Imment for Liberia? Thanks to the US Govt; this is what we campaigned for, advocated, got lambasted & went to jail for; We were beaten, arrested, insulted, called different names, yet remained undeterred until the TRC recommended Prosecution for the commission of heinous crimes; war crimes & crimes against humanity committed against the Liberian people! On behalf of all the gallant men who stood with us in the quest for transitional justice( Sampson Tweh, Abel Say-Voker, Nathaniel Toe, Boakai Jaleiba, Richard Kieh, (now Hon.) Acarous Gray, Stephen Herron, Jefferson Koijee, Alfred Togbah, Ronald Mendscole, Sampson Dee, Jusu Bility, etc), thank you. We also say Thank you very much to the great people of the United States of America, their Government; & all well-meaning Liberians for early steps that shows impunity, no matther where it occurs, is punishable under international law! Thanks to Frontpageafrica & its publisher, Rodney Sieh, a great paper & publisher that continues to be a champion of freedom, justice & good governance; Journalists Stanley Seakor(Analyst Newspaper), Lyndon Ponnie(Editor-In-Chief of Concord Times), Gibson Jerue, Public Agenda Newspaper, Adam Sheriff, News Newspaper, Philip Wisseh, Inquirer Newspaper, Tom Kamara(May his Soul rest in Peace), New Democrat, where Othello Garbla was a great inspiration, Mr. Kenneth Best, Daily Observer Newspaper, Mr. Kamara, Heritage Newspaper & its Editorial Staff; Then Star Radio, UNMIL Radio, Kings FM, T-Max Jlateh & Martin Browne of Sky FM, Truth FM; Mr. Aaron Kollie, Power TV( a great station), Real TV, Jonathan Pailelay, BBC; & to all the reporters, thank you. You, your papers, radios, TVs & institutions were great conveyor belts that objectively portrayed the happenings, without favor. Thanks to the European Union, ECOWAS, AU, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, International Republican Institute, etc. Thanks to all the ordinary people who stood with us, sometimes went to jail while we provided leadership against impunity in Liberia. To political parties and their leaders who stood on the side of justice. To Judges who sent us to jail without cause, thereby legitimizing & making popular the cause of justice. And to churches and clergymen, thank you. Above all, THANK GOD for the emerging success. However, we cannot at this point be complacent until justice is finally delivered for war victims!
