Ward Village’s Courtyard Cinema presents Le Chef August 14The public is invited on August 14 to don their best berets at this months Ward Village Courtyard Cinema, which will present Le Chef, a subtitled French film that follows the journey of a veteran chef (Jean Reno) and a younger chef (Michaël Youn), who together embark on a journey through the intoxicating world of French haute-cuisine. In celebration of the film, the event will feature French DJ CIA; food vendors Le Crepe Café and The Pig & The Lady, and a cash bar with French martinis, wines and more.Courtyard Cinema premiered in June and is a monthly film series presented in partnership with the Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF) and Consolidated Theaters. Seating and free popcorn are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited amount of free tickets are available at wardvillagecourtyardcinema.
