Warm days and cool nights will last into the weekend. Expect evening temperatures to fall into the upper 60s after sunset under a clear sky. Winds will remain from the northeast through Thursday. Overnight lows will drop into the middle to upper 50s through Friday. The wind will switch to the east and then southeast as we enter the weekend. This will be ahead of our next weather maker. Expect showers to develop late Sunday with coverage and intensity picking up into Sunday evening. Widespread rain is looking more likely overnight Sunday into Monday. Temperatures will be dropping back into the 70s for highs with the increase in cloud cover and scattered showers. Keep checking back for updates to the timing of the rain it’s still possible it could speed up and get here Sunday afternoon. Brad Travis Chief Meteorologist WAFF 48 Storm Team We Track Storms
