Warm up your fingers for this intervallic lick for C7. By combining wide interval skips with arpeggios you can create very dynamic (and hard to play!) melodies. This line starts with descending 6th and 5th intervals followed by a C major and Gm7 arpeggios. The final 9 notes are major and minor 6th intervals ascending in 5ths resolving to the high E. As radical as this lines sounds, its just the notes from the C dom 7 scale (F major). I alternate pick the entire line. Work on it in short 4-8 note phrases and when youre ready, try it over the C7 play-along track.
