Warming up sucks, right? Well, not exactly. How about a warm up thatll make you INSTANTLY stronger on your squats, bench presses and deadlifts? Thatd be pretty cool, huh? And what if that instant strength warm up took LESS THAN 5 minutes. Even better. Here it is... Free of charge ;) --------------------------------------------------------------- The Instant Strength Warm Up... --------------------------------------------------------------- The Instant Strength warm up consists of a few simple exercises that FORCE you to get TIGHT. Since more tightness = more strength... You now know why the instant strength warm up works! Very simple, very powerful. Heres what you do: A. Plank with maximal tension Hold for 5 seconds. Squeeze your entire body as hard as you can and power breathe. B. Glute Bridge Hold for 10 seconds. Simple as that. TIP: as you hold the glute bridge, consciously focus on squeezing your glutes as hard as possible. Rest your hands on your quads C. Bottoms Up Press Use a Kettlebell and Clean it into the Bottoms Up position. (Cannonball in the air, above your hand). This is a very hard thing to do because the kettlebell will try to fall. Its incredibly unstable in this position! The way to stop it falling is to GET TIGHT. A set of 3 reps/side will do nicely. As you press the kettlebell, flex your quads, clench your butt, brace your abs and lats and squeeze your fist as hard as you can. DO NOT allow your body to ROTATE! If you rotate either way - left or right - you arenttight. Its a great exercise that provides instant feedback! After the Instant Strength warm up, aim to re-create the same TIGHTNESS you felt on the 3 warm up exercises, on your squats, benches and deads. Youll be instantly stronger :)
