Warming up the scapula adductor muscles before shoulder work not only fires a movement pattern not often used in most CrossFit classes. But creating tension in this muscle group readies your rotator cuff and rhomboids for all over head work. Heres 3 exercises to do with the @ironedgetraining bands. 2 sets of 10 of each exercise with 30 second rest between. 1st: horizontal row 2nd: high pull into snatch grip 3rd: straight arms straight out. Always aiming to make the shoulder blades squeeze together in the last point of the movement.
