Warning: 0 to 100 real quick Black people being lazy (not voting) is not the reason Republicans got office. Lets clarify that real quick. I am pretty sure a lot of black folks made a conscious decision to go out and vote. The problem is that we absorb everything the media tell us, from Ebola all the way to our weather for the next day. If the media says, Many Democrats chose to stay at home. Our thought process is ( black people didnt vote). If the media says, Fear Ebola, we fear it. If the media says, The world is about to end, we in our basement with gallons of water and juju beans. Unfortunately, the media is controlled and our main source of evidence is not accurate all the time. Do I need to remind you that President Bush presidency was not based on accurate votes. And I am not trying to discourage anyone from voting, but I have to state the facts. The political system was not developed yesterday and its nothing but a chess game. Politicians philosophy is Let the best man win. These folk hang out together and possibly brainstorm together. In addition to that, if you chose to vote yesterday good for you, but you cannot judge anyone that has loss faith in the political system. We are trying our best to defend a system that fails to protect us. Actually, it was never created to protect us since we landed on the shores of America. We get addressed with bargaining tools like: medical card, link card, section 8, financial aid, and we suppose to be quiet, and ignore the injustice that we experience on a everyday basis.Yes, our forefathers and ancestors fought and shed blood for our rights; I appreciate their strength with every bone in my body. However, we are still living under a wicked government that is operated in The United States of America. Open your eyes to the everyday injustice we face and dont be blinded by this election. We have been putting our faith in a political system since the 1700s, and were still complaining about Racism Poverty in neighborhoods Economic issues Tax laws Unstructured school systems Health care Contaminated food supply...etc Whether you voted or not, you still have to accept the bitter with the sweet as an American. Stop judging each other and become the change you want to see....💯
