Warning: A venting session is about to start...you have been warned! I am so tired of seeing/hearing people bad mouth law enforcement & making them out to be the bad guys! I have several friends who are or were in law enforcement, including my father who was an auxiliary policeman in his younger days. These guys all risk their lives daily to serve & protect. They arent paid near enough to what they deserve. Yes, sadly, there is occasionally the one bad cop. But then there is always a bad coach, a bad preacher, a bad boss. You cant call a whole bushel of apples bad just because there is one bad apple in it. I was raised to respect & to honor law enforcement, firemen, soldiers & such. People who risk their lives and help us. People who leave their family each day not knowing what the day may hold. People with families who pray for them to come home each day safely. So, instead of bashing or bad mouthing cops & other first responders, why dont you go to one & thank them! You never know when you will need their help one day! Thanks to all my friends who are in law enforcement, fire, military & medical!
