Warning *Graphic Photos* *Sarcoid* *Long Post* Please dont lecture me that I am neglecting my boy as he is far from neglected and I am doing my utmost for him. Charlie Brown is 26/27 years old, Ive had him for 14 years and last summer a small scab turned slowly into this sarcoid, over the year. I have had the vets out and they wanted him to undergo laser surgery but that is not an option. They then said to continue what I was doing (they gave me blue spray but he was allergic) I put sudocreme on for a few months, cleaned it everyday and got rid of the gunky stuff, 16 days ago I started using toothpaste. I have noticed that it is not so lumpy as before and he doesnt seem as irritable, in fact he now stands there quite calmly. Charlie has been diagnosed with cushings this year and it is now under control with pergolide, he is a sprightly boy with lots of energy, lunging him tonight I noticed that he was hopping on his back end (not lame just generally hopping because of the sarcoid) it was swinging like a pendulum, I stopped because he was uncomfortable and went back and cleaned it, taking these pictures. I have noticed that the root part is definitely growing tighter, and it is looking more like a cauliflower. Im just asking if anyone has ever dealt with a sarcoid like this and what did they do? Ive heard of banding, Liverpool cream, the bloodroot paste but all Ive used so far is toothpaste. I am doing the best that my budget allows and he is no way suffering, I just am hitting a brick wall with what to do. Thank you for your time. Is there anyone who has dealt with this before?
