Warning!!! I fear that this may be a controversial topic, but lets not let it become a debate. Its okay if all of you dont agree with me. This is just what God has laid upon my heart today. For those of you who agree... great. For those of you who dont, Im sorry. This is just my rev for today. Telling someone your lifestyle is wrong and is going to send you to hell is all good and well if all youre out to do is get it off of your chest. However, realize that they have most likely heard this thisva million times before. You restating the obvious most likely isnt going to change their mind. However, changing them is not your job. First, they have to have a change of heart, and only God can change the heart. Our focus has to be showing them how to form a loving and meaningful relationship with God through Jesus Christ, by loving them unconditionally so that they may have some miniscule idea of the love of Christ. Even if they decide to change their lifestyle based on what you told them, it will not be for the right reasons. It will be because they were afraid of a mans judgment. A mans judgment should not matter. Only God has the right to judge someone outside the body of Christ. The only way to truly change someone is to change their hearts by helping them learn to let God in and get to know him. Please, dont get me wrong... When a brother or sister in Christ are going astray it is by all means our job to try and help them. However, they should already be professing Christ as their Lord and Savior if we are passing any judgment upon them. We must learn to show God to people by acting as Jesus acted. Unconditional love.
