Warning: If you try to practice Reiki before you are attuned - you can cause damage to your aura and require repair before being able to actually be attuned. As well, false claims of being a Reiki practitioner can lead to psychosis and other major problems. Prayers and good vibes can be sent - and there are other energy based healing methodologies - but Reiki requires the attunement - by a Reiki master - and then to be taught how to use each degree as you progress. Do not attempt to practice Reiki or view / use any sacred symbols. Most symbols and information on the internet is incorrect. A real Reiki practitioner will know their lineage. The key is to be respectful.
