Warning: Long post: After a very harrowing last 48 hours instead of seeing lovely pics from Los Angeles you will be seeing photos from Melb (after I catch up on sleep). The kids and I were returned from USA - we never made it back in :(. Something about the Visa I had was not enough. Denise made it through so there is a bit of a dilemma happening right now. Theres so much going on its ridiculous. I hope the Universe will let me know exactly what it is for I am totally dumbfounded, very exhausted and at least the kids are bright little buttons (sugar does that). For now I am laying very low (no I am not a fugitive on the run - but I have a knowing now what one might feel like after not being able to touch anything in my bags since I got off the plane. I thank you so much for the help back here in Australia and those in the USA who just were so amazing in booking tickets, getting Denise settled and oh thats right I still have an apartment in LA to sort. The guys who were processing me said they saw someone come back into the USA in 4 days after being sent back. B1 and B2 visa people - so for now I will ponder on the last 48 hours. I know what it feels like to be patted down, Im grateful they were super kind to my children. I got an express, escorted trip to the front line of check in. We got put in the back of a divvy van (or it felt like it) to be transported 500 metres up the road. My kids are towers of strength and I have many more stories to tell about this whole 48 hours. Women in uniforms exerting power at the beginning then realising that perhaps they wished they hadnt bothered after they got the full story and seeing the kids and knowing the work I did. I still love the USA. You can not keep a good Goddess out. And I have a lot to deal with here to right now. And my favourite quote today Well theres another chapter for you book to which was really funny since I went to the USA to start and finish writing it. Guess that story is still being played out. Ok going to sleep for 2 days then I will be back. (just a side note there was another Aussie gal and her little boy in there too - she got through, after our kids tore up the place with laughter in a very unfunny place, and to the poor Aussie guy who was to meet the love of his life in Boston from the internet - sorry mate you have to come in with more than 0 cash and a phone number and that was just some of what I saw. ). PPS: right now I wish I had an immigration lawyer friend specialising in B1 and B2 zzzzzzzz
