Warning: The world might be going completely mad. I just returned from doing errands in Nashua, an event that usually reduces me to an exhausted, misanthropic puddle of box-store-pummelled, consumerism-lamenting goo. But everyone was so dang cheerful today! The guy in the percussion section at Guitar Center who was sporting awesome pink clothes and told me all about his new cowbell (more cowbell!), which is so loud, it doesnt need extra miking. The parents who seemed to really be having fun shopping with their kids at Trader Joes. The checkout lady at Home Depot who gave me some good (and rather randy) advice about men and a well-mascaraed wink to go with it. The extremely earnest college kid working at Dicks who practically begged me to carpe diem. The checkout person at Target who couldnt stop laughing and told me she was having an absolutely fantastic day. The slightly crazy guy in the parking lot who told me that sweet Jesus was smiling on me. It sure felt like it. :)
