Warning! This is kind of a puff piece. Since my days as a tramps girl ( this is be term we use to describe the traveling Linemans woman) I have face a few hard moments. Its a stressful life going back and forth between two households. Its hard enough taking care of one. But trying to balance life between two is to say the least a headache at times. I often take that stress out on my boyfriend and we argue at times which make leaving harder. My vision for what this kind of life entailed never really matched up to what it is really like. There are times where the fight are heart wrenching and having to hit the road right after and try and swallow your pride to make that 5 hour drive is so difficult. But today my boyfriend wrote me the sweetest thing and it made the worries disappear. He told me he understood that doing what I do with two babies is hard. That things would smooth out eventually and that he understood my stress. He ended it with an I love you baby. I couldnt help but shed a small tear of happiness that the man I chose to spend this crazy life with was standing by me crazy fits and all. He was supporting me as much as I could hope I was supporting him as well. And a vision of the road to our future made me smile. It made me realize. A strong woman is a wonderful thing. But if that strong woman has the love and support of a great partner she can soar. Life is rarely what we expect but thats part of growing and learning. So I just wanted to give a shout out to good man and thank the stars that hes mine. Heres to the people who drive us to insanity but keep us leveled with their love.
