Warning: Today I was forced to download the FB Messenger app to my Android in order to send a FB message via my phone. Shortly after, my NY daughter advised me of what many people don’t realize: downloading the app, you grant Facebook permission to do a multitude of things like call phone numbers, send SMS messages, record audio, take pictures and read personal profile information stored on your phone. Now, I had read the app and yes gave a click without hesitation, but I had to send the message, right?
