Warning: Youll probably never see this... A note about Hednesford Salvation Armys Facebook Page... As most people can see, Facebook has been a significant point of contact for us in terms of meeting new people. The problem is, Facebook keeps changing their algorithm such that our fans see less and less of our content. When we got started, about 20% of our fans would see an update from us. Facebooks goal is to get that down to 1% or 2% and we keep seeing the decrease in impact as we go. Maybe you didnt even realize Facebook does this and you thought you were seeing everything we put out. Essentially, Facebook wants all pages to start paying to boost their content rather than continuing to interact in the ways they normally do. Its just business, and we get it. We dont like it, but we didnt invent Facebook. There are a few things our existing fans can do to help us get news and content to travel further. 1. You can cruise to the Hednesford Salvation Army page, mouse over the button thay says liked and click the Notifications link. This means that whenever we post content, youll get a notification the same way you do when someone comments on your post or sends you a friend request. 2. You can click Like and/or Share and/or Comment on our content. All three of these are considered actions that Facebook sees as an indicator that the content is relevant and should be shown to more of our fans. 3.
