Warning: just caught somebody trying to break into my car in the vons parking lot. He is caucasian, mid twenties, dressed warmly, wearing a hat and driving a hatchback white car. I have a large van and was parked next to a large truck, at the end of an aisle, which gave him plenty of privacy to make the attempt. I walked into vons and when I saw that the line wrapped around back to the door again, I walked right back out. Im sure he thought he had much more time than that to get in and out of my car before I came back. He seemed startled as I unlocked the van with the keyless entry and only when I saw him scamper to a car across the aisle and speed away did I fully understand what he was doing over there. Tried to snap a photo, but this is all I got. Just an FYI to keep an eye out! Yes, I made a call to the sheriff with the description already :)
