Warning...sort of long post...but I got a little philosophical (so maybe that should be a warning, too, lol). As I was searching through Google to find a good fitness quote to make into a pic, I came across a quote: I dont have time really means Its not my priority I thought initially amen, brother!, but then about 2 seconds later, I realized this just isnt the case all the time, and its hardly fair to say. It is case by case dependent. For instance, I chose to eat a Quest bar when Ive been home all day because Ive not made it a priority to make me something balanced to eat. Thats the truth...hard and cold. HOWEVER, if I were out and about and I chose to eat a Quest bar over fast food, then I am making my health a priority. Then I got to thinking deeper. What are your priorities?? List them out for me right now whether its here, in your head, scratched on a post-it...whatever. List your top 3 priorities. Now...list where you spend most of your time. HMMMM..... so I bet that the 2 lists dont match, but does that mean just because its not what you spend the most time on that its not your top priority?? No!!! I imagine several of you put family as a top priority, but on time, I imagine work got the highest ranking of where you spend your time. Hmmmm...sucks...especially if you dont like your job or your job doesnt help you spend more time with your top priority. Have you ever done Chalenes PUSH series or even Smart Success? Ive done the PUSH twice and now listening to Smart Success. I lOVE them!!! Theyve helped me so much to work smart, set goals that do not conflict with my priorities but help me with my priorities.
