Warning, the following status is a novel. The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed. The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears; I have not been rebellious, I have not turned away. I offered my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard; I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting. Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame. - Isaiah 50:4-7 I havent posted my thoughts in a while, so here we go. I think that it is absolutely incredible that our Creator blessed us with the gift of life and it is because of Him that we wake up every day. It is He who gives us the wisdom and knowledge to help others and He who opens our ears to listen and learn. We must not rebel against the Lord, nor should we turn our backs against Him for He is truly everything that we live for whether we know it or not. The Lord helps is through everything, it is because of Him that we can turn the other cheek and take the torment from the world, for when we do this, we are pleasing Him. Why respond and retort to the world if it wont benefit any situation or please God? Therefore, take everything that the world throws at you, but dont retort, because then you are only stooping down to the ways of the world. The Lord will help you through absolutely everything in His own way, and if you listen, you will not be disgraced not put to shame. Set your face like flint and take the fire that the world throws at you, for your Heavenly Father and Protector is watching over you and has a purpose for everything.
