Warning: this contains some incredibly graphic film of what Israeli artillery did in Gaza. I know these people have been fighting each other for millennia ... but heres the catch: We give Israel over three BILLION dollars each year ... thats from you and me, brother. Our taxes go to fund this ongoing, ever escalating carnage, with the excuse that we are supporting our ally Israel in their effort to keep Democracy in the Middle East. Bull Shit. I dont know about you .. but .. Im pissed that we let one president cast us as an aggressor in an unnecessary war, in Iraq, without reason. Im pissed that he got us involved in two wars .. the other in Afghanistan, which, for the record, has never been conquered. Just ask Russia about the ass-kicking they took a few decades back. Its bad enough when we get involved in senseless wars .. but .. to support a regime that continues this kind of carnage on civilians? Dont get me wrong, I know we throw money at the Palestinians too .. but thats my point: WHY??? All theyll do is keep the body bags flowing. Stop. Now. Think about all the GOOD we could do with that money right here at home. Im guessing that kind of money would go a long way at providing health care for every man, woman, and child in our country. Or Food for the hungry. Or shelter for the homeless. Or .... The point is ... we have SO many issues right here at home ...yet were still out in the world trying to spread Democracy .. to people that have no desire for it. Hellsbells, why dont we spread Democracy HERE FIRST? Have you noticed how our federal legislators sit around posturing, all the while with their thumbs up their arses?? Fix HOME first. If you have time, fix your neighbor. THEN think about expanding abroad. Who knows ... without all the money we throw at all sides of these conflicts, maybe a few less bombs will fall, or rockets fly, or ..... And maybe a few more people will stay alive .....
