Warning this is on the graphic side but this is a big part of the reason there are poor relations between the black community and the police. The reality is that blacks are automatically considered violent, aggressive, and second class citizens. Cops just are not trained or mentally capable of getting past that prejudice. The victim here clearly had some mental issues and could have been approached differently. Put a weapon and the license to kill into the hands of not so intelligent people and this is the outcome (no matter the race). Think about the impact this has on the psyche of the people who are in black communities (actually any community). Its seeing your own people get slaughtered that breeds self hate, violence, and disregard to your peers. This is the stuff that starts race wars and terrorism.
