Warning to Sheep Graziers for the Australian Capital Territory, Riverina, South West Slopes, Snowy Mountains, Southern Tablelands and Central Tablelands forecast districts Issued at 10:27 am EST on Sunday 18 August 2013. A strong cold front is expected to cross southeast NSW Sunday night/Monday morning with strong to gale force northwest winds turning cold, gusty southwesterly. Widespread showers are expected about the western slopes of the ranges Monday with snow lowering to about the 700 metre level in the south. Areas likely to be affected include the South West Slopes, Snowy Mountains, Southern Tablelands, Central Tablelands, Australian Capital Territory and Riverina, forecast districts. There is a high risk of losses of lambs and sheep exposed to these conditions.
