Warri Wolves travelled out of Lagos yesterday with 16 players and two coaches to Tunisia for the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup against CA Bizertin on Sunday. Wolves released an official statement on Tuesday regarding their travelling plans, saying they would travel with 18 players and 12 officials. The team is made up of 18 players and 12 officials without Oghenekaro Etebo who is in Italy for trials and captain Azubuike Egwuekwe who got married last weekend. Some of the players who made the team include Okiemute Odah, Ike ThankGod, Oke Ogagotewho, Joshua Obaje, Josiah Maduabuchi, Ikechukwu Ibenegbu, Achibi Ewenike, Musa Najare and Goodluck Onamado, Wolves stated. But it has now emerged that Wolves have been hit by a financial crunch forcing them to trim the number of their travelling contingent for the clash with CA Bizertin. The Wolves contingent left Nigeria aboard a Moroccan airline on Wednesday with a numerical disadvantage instead of the official 18 players
