Warsaw Uprising is the worlds first non-fiction war drama. It will be released in cinemas on 9 May. The 85-minute-long movie tells the story of the #WarsawUprising organized in 1944 against #German troops that had occupied the capital of #Poland from 1939. It broke out on 1 August, and lasted 63 days, until 3 October 1944. Old chronicles were remastered and colourised with the help of historians, architects, urban specialists and specialists in the studies of Warsaw. Dialogues read by actors were partially reconstructed on the basis of original words of insurgents that a criminologist deciphered from lip movement. Read more:
