Was Eric Cantona the ultimate footballer of all times after all - TopicsExpress

Was Eric Cantona the ultimate footballer of all times after all (or maybe George Best)? In that he was a genious and a bad boy (and so was George Best)? Pele was great, Roberto Di Stefano too but before mass media. So was Johan Cruyff, Holland (the right term is NL) and Ajax of 1971-1974 played the ultimate football after all. Oh yes, I am leaving out one guy. His hand of god move in you know which game wa maybe the ultimate unsportsmanlike football gesture of all times but at the same time maybe the ultimate politicall declaration of the then growing world against the British Empire. And it came at the same game as maybe the best goal ever scored (the second). But maybe George Delikaris goal in Greece vs West Germany (then) was the best. But was scored in Greece. And George Delikaris was the George Best of Greece and maybe even better than George Best. But he played football in Greece, not in England (the best championship in the world in the 70s and arguably the best today). Watch maybe the best goal ever scored in football at 0:28 of https://youtube/watch?v=WT0jIBAUKZA. And this comes from an (former) Panathinaikos fan. In the memory of one of the most noble persons of all time, Demosthnes Panayotopoulos, 1916-1982, an Olympiakos fan, who died from a stroke in his home while doing his real estate taxes, a policy imposed by the PASOK government at the time, with this bother, Aristophanes (Fanis) because he was a noble civil enginneer and entrepreneur and to some extent due to the clumsiness of his son while doing farm work the previous day. Nothing matters in the Universe after all, but strangely, everything does too. Have a great rest of the trip (voyage) Cosmos.
