Was a nice and cool morning. Caught 30 crappie and 5 Green Carp. Kept 10-1lb to 11/4lb for supper. They had moved just a little deeper with this last front and another coming in this afternoon. They were in 10 of water and under the shad balls. Find the shad and get bit. Biggest crappie today was a 1.71 White and had a 1.67 Black being the two biggest. Had several from 1.30 to 1.55. When the wind switched from SW to WNW at 1pm it was over. BoneHead Slim Sticks in Grapevine and Pumpkin/Chartreuse, Mikes Custom Baits in Black/Chartreuse and Orange/Chartreuse were the hot colors, Weedless Timmy Tom Jigs in 1/8oz with 2/0 hooks, and Slab Slobber made us successful today.
